I have been the coordinator of the VISAJ Research Chair since May 2017. I started my academic career by obtaining an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Quebec at Chicoutimi in 2012 and I continued my research studies at the master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the Université de Montréal affiliated with the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Régional de Chicoutimi. During my studies, I collaborated on various research projects concerning genetics and certain hereditary diseases more frequent in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region. I worked for the CORAMH organization as a genetic information program manager until 2017. In this context, I acquired excellent experience in scientific popularization, knowledge transfer and event organization. Which led me to work for ÉCOBES–Recherche et Transfert from Cégep de Jonquière in 2017 as a project manager.
VISAJ allows me to combine my interests for research, organization and communications in order to participate in the advancement of innovative projects surrounded by a young, dynamic and rigorous team.
