The VISAJ UQAC-Cégep de Jonquière Chair is one of the significant organizations that has enabled the region to stand out as a leader in the field. Its joint status promotes collaborations between college and university researchers.

Thanks to their leadership, their creativity in research, and the sharing of their various networks, Jacinthe Dion, Marie-Ève Blackburn, and Eve Pouliot will enable the VISAJ Chair to shine a spotlight on UQAC, Cégep de Jonquière, and the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region as an international leader in the field of humanities and, more specifically, in youth research.
